Useful information for Parents and Carers of children in Year 5.

We have two Year 5 classes; 5N and 5D.

Year 5 Staff
5N: Bianca Newcombe (Class teacher)
5D: Michael Delaney (Class Teacher),
Support staff: Judy Smith

Classroom Location
5N: On the  top floor, just off the left-hand-side (as you approach from the playground)
5D: On the top floor, to the right of the Chip-Shop (Computer room).

Parent-Teacher Times
Michael and Bianca hold regular times when they will be available to see you without an appointment. If you would like see them then just drop in.

5D: Friday 3:45 – 4:15
5N: Friday  3:45 – 4:15

If meeting at these times is not convenient for you then please contact the school office to arrange an appointment.

Will be handed out on Fridays and returned the following Tuesday. It is your child’s responsibility to complete and return the homework on time. Additionally, children should be encouraged to read for 20-30 minutes each night. If there are any concerns please do contact us.

5N have PE on Fridays and Dance on Wednesdays 1st half of autumn term.

5D have PE on Fridays and Dance on Wednesdays 2nd half of autumn term.

Please make sure that your child has appropriate clothes for these sessions. IE. Jogging Trousers, shorts, t-shirt, plimsolls/trainers.

If you have any knowledge, skill, or artefacts related to what we are learning in school, then please do get in touch with your child’s teacher. We love having our Parents and Carers come in and help us all to learn!
