In order to reinforce the positive view of school our children already have, to develop social skills and to teach specific skills, we run a number of clubs after school time for children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6.
The clubs last from 3.30 to 4.30 and are run by Yerbury staff or coaches well known to us. The range of clubs changes each term so that children can experience different activities and to reflect current interests. Our clubs might be sporting, creative, from different cultures, or based on games or hobbies. Anything at all that we think will be fun and educational for the children! Some clubs may result in performances or competitive matches.
Clubs run by the School are open to all children from Year 3 upwards and incur a cost to be paid via Schools Cash Office. Highbury Roundhouse also run clubs open to Children from Reception Class upwards and these are run on the School premises but paid directly to Highbury Roundhouse. For Yerbury run Clubs, admission letters are usually sent home in the second or third week of term with clubs starting the week after. Clubs typically finish the penultimate week of term.
